Good chances for Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar - Grammy Awards 2025: Sabrina Carpenter and Kendrick Lamar dominate nominations

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on February 1, with a star-studded lineup of nominees. Sabrina Carpenter leads the pack with six nominations, while Taylor Swift's latest album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', misses out due to its release date.

The Recording Academy's voting members have their work cut out for them, with nominees spanning various genres. Sabrina Carpenter's impressive six nominations include nods for Song of the Year with 'Nonsense' and Album of the Year for 'Email I Can't Send'. Other Song of the Year nominees include Lady Gaga, Doechii, Rosé & Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, Huntr/X, Kendrick Lamar & SZA, and Billie Eilish. The Album of the Year category is equally competitive, featuring Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Clipse, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Leon Thomas, and Tyler, the Creator.

Lady Gaga ties with producer Jack Antonoff for the most nominations this year, with seven each. Kendrick Lamar is also a strong contender, with up to nine nominations, making him a top pick for multiple Grammy wins.

The Grammy Awards continue to recognise a diverse range of artists, with Sabrina Carpenter's impressive showing and Taylor Swift's notable absence due to eligibility rules highlighting the competitive nature of the prestigious event.
