Grace Hayden takes the wheel as Fox Sports' new SpeedSeries lead presenter

Grace Hayden has joined Fox Sports as the lead presenter for the Shannons SpeedSeries, a high-octane motorsport competition. The 2024 season will see her covering all rounds of the series, which features elite GT cars from brands like Porsche, Ferrari and Mercedes. Her arrival has already generated excitement among organisers and fans alike.

Hayden's journey in sports media began early, with race commentary for local karting events in Australia. Over time, she moved into professional presenting, working on Supercheap Auto TCR Australia, the Castrol TV Show, and co-hosting Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia. Her new role as lead presenter for the SpeedSeries marks another step forward in her career.

She brings a diverse background to the position. Beyond motorsport, Hayden has covered cricket, including the Indian Premier League and Big Bash League. In 2022, she also served as Channel Seven's Oaks Day ambassador, expanding her experience in horse-racing coverage. Her connection to India, sparked by her father—former cricketer Matthew Hayden—cooking Indian dishes at home, adds another layer to her international appeal. For the SpeedSeries, Hayden will work alongside Bathurst 1000 winner Nick Percat and seasoned presenters Greg Rust and Chris Stubbs. SRO Motorsports Australia CEO Ben McMellan believes her addition will bring fresh energy to the series. Outside of motorsport, she maintains a strong social media presence, with nearly 900,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok. Hayden is also in a relationship with Wilson Statham, son of Queensland cotton moguls Danielle and David Statham. Looking ahead, she has already secured commitments beyond the SpeedSeries. Hayden will present for GT World Challenge Australia in 2025-2026 and contribute as a commentator for the Australian GT National Series.

Hayden's move to the Shannons SpeedSeries strengthens Fox Sports' coverage of the championship. With her experience across multiple sports and a growing public profile, she is set to play a key role in the series' presentation. The 2024 season begins with her at the forefront of the broadcast team.
