Saturday's Gov Ball Shindig Pushed Back: Be Prepared for Rain and a Delay!
Brace yourself, NYC music fans! After a fantastic start on Friday, the Governors Ball festivities on June 7th have been postponed because of some crappy weather conditions. So, grab your raincoat and get ready for a damp celebration in Queens.
The event kicked off with a bang on June 6th boasting some jaw-dropping backflips by Benson Boone, a steamy performance by Role Models dripping with PDA, and a whole lot more. However, the fun is temporarily on hold due to those pesky forecasts showcasing rain starting from 1 PM ET and possible thunderstorms. Expect temperatures to hang around the low to mid-70s, with humidity skyrocketing to 82%.
All About the Gov Ball Weather Delay
Around 12 PM ET, the fest revealed the delay on their savvy Instagram page, stating, "Due to predicted weather, gate entry will be delayed until 4:30 PM. Adjust your arrival accordingly, and stay tuned for the updated schedule!"
