Government vows tough actions to ensure safe driving conditions on roads

Major General Ali Al-Adwani, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, recently conducted a field tour to inspect traffic conditions at the start of the 2025-2026 academic year. The tour was in accordance with directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef.

During the tour, Al-Adwani emphasised the importance of strict implementation of security and traffic measures. He addressed the need to address violations firmly to maintain road safety, ease congestion, and ensure students' timely arrival at schools.

Al-Adwani monitored traffic flow around schools as well as on main and express roads. He directed security units to intensify monitoring on highways, intersections, and school zones. Traffic leaders were instructed to prevent congestion and curb random parking near schools.

The goal of the strict implementation is to ease congestion, ensure students' timely arrival at schools, and maintain road safety. Al-Adwani also highlighted the need for increased field presence of traffic leaders to oversee traffic movement.

Teamwork between the public and authorities, according to Al-Adwani, is vital for maintaining traffic flow and safety. He urged parents and students to cooperate with officers by following traffic rules. Efficiency and collaboration, as emphasized by Al-Adwani, are key to achieving smooth traffic flow and safety.

Al-Adwani expressed confidence in the ministry's personnel and stressed the need for traffic leaders to respond promptly to emergencies. The ministry, in a press statement, reported that Al-Adwani monitored traffic flow.

The field tour was reported by Al Rai newspaper. However, there are no relevant search results that identify who Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef is or detail his directive regarding Major General Ali Al-Adwani's field tour to check the traffic situation at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

In conclusion, Major General Ali Al-Adwani's field tour underscores the ministry's commitment to maintaining road safety and ensuring smooth traffic flow, particularly at the start of the new academic year. The strict implementation of traffic measures, coupled with public cooperation, is expected to ease congestion and ensure students' timely arrival at schools.
