Government of Pavlodar addresses demands presented by Chumakov
On September 20, Pavlodar will host a summer season closing event at Ertis Promenade, with a lineup of popular artists including Turar, R-one, VSXV prince, Elman, Mona, and Alexei Chumakov. However, the inclusion of Chumakov has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with some users expressing dissatisfaction and advocating for more Kazakhstani artists.
The artist performing on this special occasion, Nurlan Alibekov, is not funded by city funds, but rather, all artists, including Chumakov, are invited to the concert solely at the expense of sponsors. The event itself is not funded by budget funds.
In the spring of this year, Alexei Chumakov's statements in an interview caused a wave of criticism, particularly for his views on marriage. However, there is no city akimat information that Chumakov has spread or supported any political or ideological propaganda.
The discussion about the lineup of the concert continues on social media, with some users calling for the inclusion of local artists such as Sкриптонит, Imanbek, and others. Earlier, Kazakhstani users expressed similar dissatisfaction with the choice of artists on social media, urging the akimat to replace Chumakov with local musicians.
It is worth noting that all artists are informed about the necessity to strictly follow the legislation and avoid statements or actions that contradict the interests of the country. The city akimat has reiterated its commitment to promoting local talent and ensuring that all events comply with the law.
Meanwhile, a separate news article discusses a race held in Almaty to determine what is faster: metro, bicycle, or electric scooter. As the summer season draws to a close in Pavlodar, the debate over the concert lineup continues to capture the attention of the public.
