Stuttgart Police Headquarters Welcomes 19 New Recruits
The Stuttgart Police Headquarters has welcomed 19 new officers as part of a larger group of 41 new federal police officers. This announcement was made on September 1, 2025, by Police President Markus Eisenbraun.
In a solemn ceremony, the newly hired police sergeants swore an oath on the Baden-Württemberg state constitution. More than half of the officers do not come from the Stuttgart area and had the opportunity to get a first impression of their new workplace during a city tour in the afternoon.
Police President Eisenbraun emphasized that all new recruits are the face of the police and bear the responsibility for the safety and trust of citizens. He appealed to them to be consistent but stay human.
Alongside these new police officers, eight office employees, one deployment assistant, one legal specialist, one employee in the records department, and one specialist in the finance department were also hired. This brings the total number of new employees to 31.

Three transfers of police officers who were previously active in other police headquarters were also noted. Most of the officers will be deployed in the future in the deployment squad, on the eight police stations, and the traffic police.
This new team of officers is set to make a significant contribution to the safety and security of the city of Stuttgart.
