According to reports, Brenda Brinkmann defended Alessia Herren, Willi Herren's daughter, against Jasmin Herren. The initial prize money for Villa of Temptation was 250,000 euros, but after episode 5, the celebrities have approximately 67,000 euros left. Jasmin Herren, who has confessed to struggling financially and having little savings, aimed balls at Brenda's field during the game, an action that further escalated the tension.
The bounty game, a crucial part of the show, requires each celebrity to defend a starting bounty of 20,000 euros per person. Hitting a ball decreases the bounty on the respective star by 1,000 euros. In the latest episode, Brenda Brinkmann spent 1,000 euros from the group's kitty to buy a second chance to play, but this move seemed to have backfired as she ended up with only 5,000 euros.
Moderator Verona Pooth encouraged the remaining celebrities to keep going, despite the shrinking prize money, which after episode 6, has dwindled to a meager 56,650 euros. Raúl Richter, another celebrity, is not dependent on the prize money.
The tension between Brenda Brinkmann and Jasmin Herren is not a new development. It appears that Jasmin Herren had previously shown interest in Brenda Brinkmann before the show, but their relationship seems to have soured. Jasmin Herren's financial struggles are mainly due to debts left by her late husband Willi Herren.
