Golfer Anthony Kim announces his upcoming competition following his demotion from the LIV Golf Tour

Anthony Kim, a relegated LIV Golfer, is set to compete in the LIV Golf Promotions event, starting with the Jakarta International Championship. This will be his fifth International Series start since his comeback last year.

The American golfer ended the LIV Golf League season with zero points, but he's optimistic about his future. Kim told Gulf News that he believes it's just a matter of time before he returns to contending for titles. He also stated that he is ahead of schedule in his comeback.

Kim's best finish in the LIV Golf League was T29th at LIV Golf Miami. However, he made a significant leap in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) following his performance at the International Series Qatar last year, jumping over 2,000 spots.

The Jakarta International Championship, taking place at Damai Indah Golf from Oct 2-5, could be a crucial step in Kim's journey to regain his form. The rankings leader after the Saudi International, the final stop for the International Series, will punch their ticket to the LIV Golf League.

Another route back to the LIV Golf League for Kim could be via the LIV Golf Promotions event in December. Kim has confirmed his next start will be at the Jakarta International Championship on the Asian Tour's LIV Golf-backed International Series next month.

The International Series will head to the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore after the Jakarta event. This series offers a possible route for Kim to earn back his LIV card.

Kim was relegated from the LIV Golf League in his second season. However, he remains determined, as evident in his recent posts on social media. "The grind doesn't stop here," he said, following his relegation.

Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about the winner of the previous season of the Jakarta International Championship on the Asian Tour's LIV Golf-backed International Series. Regardless, all eyes will be on Kim as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
