Golden Ace, the victor of the prestigious Champion Hurdle race, will be put up for sale at Goffs in December.
The Goffs December National Hunt Sale is set to be a vibrant event this year, as it has been in recent years, with the addition of a notable horse racing pedigree. Deuce Again, the dam of this year's Champion Hurdle winner Golden Ace, will be part of the sale.
Deuce Again, a 14-year-old Dubawi mare, had a successful racing career, winning the Listed Further Flight Stakes at Nottingham for Meon Valley Stud. She has also produced two other offspring, Chantico and So Deuce, that have won on the Flat.
Golden Ace, a significant racing horse, has won the Dawn Run Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton. He was found by owner Ian Gosden at the Tattersalls July Sale.
Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby expressed gratitude to Meon Valley for their faith in the Goffs service. Deuce Again, now being offered in foal to Golden Ace's sire, Golden Horn, through Stephen Kemble Bloodstock, will provide potential buyers the opportunity to breed a full brother or sister to Golden Ace.
A seven-strong draft from Willie Mullins' Closutton Stables, including Allegorie De Vassy, Lady Vega Allen, and Brandy Love, has also been announced for the sale. Allegorie De Vassy is among the high-class mares from Willie Mullins' Closutton Stables heading to the sale.
The Goffs December National Hunt Sale will complement a selection of top National Hunt mares, making it the first choice for many these days. Goffs expresses their gratitude to Meon Valley for their continued support and faith in the Goffs service.
