Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami's hit song 'Golden', performed as part of the fictional K-Pop group Huntr-x in Netflix's animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', claims the top spot on the official German single charts for the first time. The announcement was made by GfK on Friday. Meanwhile, Alex...

In the latest update from the German charts, compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie, Roger Waters, co-founder of Pink Floyd, has secured the number one spot in the album charts with his live album "Roger Waters: This Is Not A Drill - Live From Prague".

Meanwhile, in the single charts, Aymen and Sira's song "30 times a day" is holding strong in third place, with three medals, while Alex Warren's "Ordinary" takes the second spot with two medals. Interestingly, there's no significant impact for "Golden" by Huntr-x, the song featured in Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, on the German single charts as of early August 2025.

According to the official Top 100 German Single-Charts from August 9, 2025, "Golden" or Huntr-x are not listed among the ranked titles[5]. Additionally, data from Spotify Germany's daily charts and other music charts tracking platforms do not show the track "Golden" or artist Huntr-x within the top positions or notable rankings around that time[1][5].

This indicates that despite the Netflix release, the single has yet to make a significant impact on the German Singles Chart by early August 2025. It has not entered or risen in the official charts tracked by GfK Entertainment, which compiles the German singles rankings based on sales and streaming data.

Elsewhere in the album charts, Kolja Goldstein's album "Kouwe Ouwe" has debuted at number three.

The German charts, as a comprehensive representation of music sales in Germany, are a significant tool and a crucial resource for the music industry in understanding the music market in Germany[6][7]. GfK Entertainment covers 90% of all music sales in Germany, making their charts a key indicator of the music industry's performance in the country[2].

Despite the Netflix release, the single "Golden" by Huntr-x has not made a significant impact on the German Singles Chart by early August 2025, as it is not listed in the official Top 100 German Single-Charts from August 9, 2025. In contrast, the album charts are home to various offerings, such as Roger Waters' live album "Roger Waters: This Is Not A Drill - Live From Prague" in the number one spot.
