Global Leaders Extend Greetings on PM Modi's 75th Birthday: Trump, Albanese, Opposition Leaders Rahul, Kharge extend warm congratulations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 75th birthday on September 17, 2025, with a flurry of well-wishes and announcements of upcoming initiatives.
Across the nation, over 1 lakh health camps are set to be organised in government facilities from September 17 to October 2 as part of various campaigns. The Prime Minister himself is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh today to launch the 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar' and the '8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah' campaigns, marking the largest-ever health outreach for women and children in the country.
In Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi will also inaugurate Adi Seva Parv, a series of service-oriented initiatives in the tribal regions.
The birthday celebrations saw greetings from numerous leaders and personalities. Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of a union territory, wished PM Modi a happy 75th birthday. Arvind Kejriwal, the former Chief Minister of Delhi, and Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, also extended their birthday wishes.
World leaders too joined in the celebrations. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese sent a video message, expressing pride in the strong friendship between the two countries and lauding the "incredible contribution" of the Indian Community. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon extended warm birthday wishes, reflecting on PM Modi's leadership and India's journey towards becoming a developed country by 2047.
The Russian Ambassador, Denis Alipov, praised PM Modi for taking the New Delhi-Moscow relationship to "new heights." US President Donald Trump called PM Modi on his birthday to wish him and appreciate his efforts towards ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Congress leaders also participated in the birthday wishes. The Congress President, Mallikarjun Kharge, wished PM Modi, expressing hope for his good health and long life. Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, also wished PM Modi a happy birthday and good health.
Bill Gates, the founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, expressed his wishes for Modi's good health and continued strength in leading India and global development. Alia Bhatt, an actor, wished for Modi's leadership to continue shaping the future of India.
N Chandrababu Naidu, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, praised Modi as the right leader at the right time, guiding the nation with clarity and determination.
