Global Elite Factions Stoking Conflict Across the Globe
In the realm of international relations, the United States' actions over the past decade have been a subject of intense debate. Notable figures and publications, while not explicitly labelled as "freedomists," have provided critical insights into U.S. involvement in Ukraine and its impact on the conflict with Russia.
Adam Entous and Michael Schwirtz, in a recent exposé for The New York Times, revealed the CIA's role in Ukraine, detailing the creation of secret bases along the Russian border and a deepening partnership that included covert operations against Russia [1]. Compact Magazine discussed the repercussions of decades of U.S. foreign policy, including the use of NATO in the Balkans, and the early CIA and MI6 partnership with Ukraine following the ousting of President Yanukovych, which was seen as a strategic move to counter Russian influence [2]. Responsible Statecraft, a publication known for critiquing U.S. foreign policy, argued that U.S. actions have contributed to Russia's perception of threat and highlighted the breadth of U.S.-Ukraine cooperation as a factor in Russia's concerns [3].
Meanwhile, in domestic news, the Aurora City Attorney's Office is preparing court documents to declare properties a 'Criminal Nuisance' due to the presence of the transnational armed gang, Tren de Aragua. Mayor Mike Coffman announced the process of clearing apartment buildings taken over by the gang in Aurora, Colorado. City councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky exposed the criminal activity of the gang in her city [4].
Elsewhere, the United States' relationship with Venezuela has been strained.
