Global cannabis company Canopy Growth broadens its medical offerings by debuting 7ACRES brand in Australia
Canopy Growth Corporation, a world-leading cannabis company, has expanded its Australian medical cannabis portfolio with the introduction of two new high-THC sativa strains under the Canadian-grown 7ACRES brand.
The two strains, Ultra Jack and Jack Frost, are initially available in 10-gram flower formats.
Ultra Jack, a cross between Ultra Sour and Jack Haze, is known for its energizing effects and is one of 7ACRES' top-performing flower strains in the Canadian medical and adult-use cannabis markets.
On the other hand, Jack Frost is a hybrid of White Widow and Cold Creek Kush, offering balanced cerebral effects with unique flavor genetics.
This expansion complements Canopy Growth's existing presence in Australia, which includes Tweed flower products and Spectrum Therapeutics oils.
Andrew Bevan, Senior Vice President, Global Medical, stated that adding 7ACRES to their Australian portfolio helps ensure patients and prescribers have access to a diverse range of high-quality flower options.
Luc Mongeau, Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that global medical is one of Canopy Growth's largest commercial opportunities.
Canopy Growth Corporation serves medical cannabis patients globally with principal operations in Canada, Europe, and Australia.
In addition to these strains, Canopy Growth's product portfolio includes brands like Tweed, 7ACRES, DOJA, Deep Space, and Claybourne. The company also offers category-defining vaporization devices by Storz & Bickel.
Canopy Growth has majority ownership of Lemurian, Inc., a California-based producer of high-quality cannabis extracts and clean vape technology. The company also owns Wana Wellness, LLC, The Cima Group, LLC, and Mountain High Products, LLC, a leading North American edibles brand. Canopy USA's portfolio includes Acreage Holdings, Inc., a vertically integrated multi-state cannabis operator.
