Global Box Office Earnings for War 2 (Day 7): Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's movie reaches the 300 crore mark worldwide, making it the third Bollywood film of 2025 to achieve this milestone.
War 2, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, has continued its box office success, adding Rs 6 crore to its earnings on its seventh day. According to early estimates, the film has now earned a total of Rs 206 crore net in India.
The film, which is the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe, stars Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as ex-RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal. He is joined by a star-studded cast including Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and Varun Badola in key supporting roles.
War 2 has also performed well internationally, crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in India and minting Rs 300 crore globally. However, it is not the biggest box office hit of the year. That title goes to Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Soubin Shahir, which has earned above Rs 420 crore globally.
Coolie has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics, but its box office success is undeniable. War 2, on the other hand, has been praised for its action sequences and performances, particularly Roshan's portrayal of Kabir Dhaliwal.
Interestingly, the director of War 2 is not directly found in the search results provided. However, for the well-known 1977 war film "A Bridge Too Far," the director is Richard Attenborough.
War 2 is not the highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year either. That title is held by Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, which has minted just above Rs 800 crore at the global box office. Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has also collected over Rs 500 crore worldwide.
As of now, there is no information available about the OTT release details, leaks, or watching War 2 online. Jr NTR made his Bollywood debut as RAW agent Vikram Chelapathi in War 2, adding another layer of star power to the film.
War 2 is a must-watch for action movie fans, offering high-octane action sequences, stellar performances, and a gripping storyline. Despite not topping the year's highest-grossing Bollywood films, it is certainly a film worth checking out.
