Get ready for a fresh dose of comedy as the new Hulu original series, "Chad Powers", starring Glen Powell, is set to premiere exclusively on Hulu on Tuesday, September 30.

"Chad Powers" follows the story of Russ Holliday, a college football player who adopts the persona of Chad Powers to revitalize his career. The series, a half-hour comedy, has been co-created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, with Powell also penning the pilot episode.

Powell, known for his roles in box office hits like "Twisters", "Top Gun: Maverick", and "Set It Up", takes centre stage in this sports comedy series that has drawn comparisons to the popular show "Ted Lasso" due to its comedic tone and shared sports genre. However, it's important to note that "Chad Powers" is an independent show, aiming to carve its own identity, not a continuation or sequel to "Ted Lasso".

The series boasts an impressive cast, including Perry Matfield, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Steve Zahn, and a host of other talented actors. Zahn, who is also a cast member in "Chad Powers", was recently featured in a clip released by Hulu during college football's SEC Media Day.

To watch "Chad Powers", a subscription to Hulu is required. Subscriptions can be obtained either as a standalone platform, combined with live TV, or bundled with Disney Plus for a single monthly fee.
