The world of luxury yachting is abuzz with the introduction of two remarkable vessels: the Otam 90 GTS superyacht and the Frauscher 1414 Demon.

The Otam 90 GTS Superyacht

The Otam 90 GTS, a 27.75-meter (approximately 91 feet) high-performance yacht, is a masterpiece built by the Italian boutique shipyard Otam. Delivered in 2024, this yacht boasts a silver metallic hull with bronze accents, combining Italian bespoke styling with a hull form inspired by proven race heritage.

Key features of the Otam 90 GTS include twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, each producing 2,600 hp, paired with Arneson surface drives. This powerhouse setup propels the yacht to a top speed of approximately 42 to 45 knots, surpassing the initial design target, and a cruising speed around 36 to 38 knots. The yacht's range is approximately 380 nautical miles at 35 knots.

The Otam 90 GTS comfortably accommodates 6 guests in 3 cabins with space for 4 crew members. It is equipped with a Seakeeper 26 stabilizer for enhanced comfort at anchor. The yacht is currently listed for sale at about €8,800,000 (approx. $10.2 million USD).

Despite initial reports, there is no explicit information indicating that the Otam 90 GTS or the specific unit named "Sexy Me" will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2025. However, since "Sexy Me" was delivered in 2024, the initial presentation likely took place by then.

The Frauscher 1414 Demon

The Frauscher 1414 Demon, on the other hand, showcases a carbon-fibre structure reminiscent of F1's protective 'halo' system in its helm console. This 14.14-meter (approximately 46.4 feet) vessel offers a distinctly F1 vibe with its carbon-fibre dash.

The Frauscher 1414 Demon's main deck delivers a range of day boating zones, including a long raked bow with another big dinette and integrated dining area. The lower deck can be tailored to the buyer's needs, offering three ensuite cabins and a lower lounge.

One unique feature of the Frauscher 1414 Demon is its vast bathing platform, which comes with room for freestanding furniture and water toys. The aft cockpit leads down to this platform, featuring an aft-facing settee. For added privacy, the galley is carefully separated from the VIP area.

Close collaboration between the Genoa-based shipyard and Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design has resulted in cool detailing on the Frauscher 1414 Demon. The exact asking price for this vessel is not currently available.

Both the Otam 90 GTS and the Frauscher 1414 Demon represent the pinnacle of modern yacht design, offering a blend of speed, luxury, and customisability that is sure to captivate any discerning buyer.
