Gladiators Trier extend with Clayton Guillozet - Gladiators Trier locks in Clayton Guillozet through 2027 for Bundesliga push
Gladiators Trier has secured the future of key player Clayton Guillozet after extending his contract until summer 2027. The American guard has been instrumental for the club since arriving in 2024, helping the team hold fifth place in the current Basketball Bundesliga season.
Guillozet becomes the third player to commit long-term to Trier, following earlier extensions by Marco Hollersbacher and Marten Linßen. His renewed deal comes as the club, promoted from the ProB, continues to build a competitive roster.
So far in the 2025/26 campaign, the Gladiators have added five overseas players: Deonte Houston, Myles Hesson, Parker Jones, Nate Mason, and Robin Amaeze. These signings reflect the team's ambition to strengthen its squad with international talent.
Head coach Jacques Schneider will also stay beyond this season, ensuring continuity in leadership. The club's focus remains on stability and growth as it establishes itself in Germany's top basketball division.
With Guillozet's extension, Trier now has three players locked in for the coming seasons. The team's current fifth-place standing highlights its progress since promotion. Further contract renewals and new signings suggest the Gladiators are planning for sustained success in the Bundesliga.
