Giulia Martinengo Marquet Triumphs at National A5 Showjumping in Manerbio
Giulia Martinengo Marquet made headlines at the National A5 showjumping competition in Manerbio, Italy, last November. The event, hosted by the Al.Cle Equestrian Center, saw 25 horse-and-rider pairs competing in the Grand Prix, with only two delivering clear rounds in both rounds. Martinengo Marquet emerged victorious, riding Get Rich d’Anchat.
The Grand Prix, part of the Al.Cle Tour and the 18th Memorial G. Sturla, was a thrilling event. Martinengo Marquet and Get Rich d’Anchat stopped the clock at 35.56 seconds, winning the Grand Prix. Cristiano Mion and Valentino finished second with a time of 38.01 seconds. Manuel Pizzato and K.O. V. Berkenbroeck took third place with a fault-free but slower round (0/4).
Martinengo Marquet's success was not limited to the Grand Prix. She also won the C140 class on Saturday, riding Habibi V’Gas. She delivered a fast, faultless round, securing her position as the weekend’s standout performer. In the same class, she had a clear round with Get Rich d’Anchat, earning fifth place.
The National A5 showjumping competition in Manerbio proved itself as a stage for top-tier equestrian sport. Martinengo Marquet's impressive performance, riding Get Rich d’Anchat and Habibi V’Gas, solidified her status as a formidable competitor in the sport.
