It turns out Victoria encountered a fierce competitor, Anastasia Kirsanova, a tipsy 22-year-old resident of Moscow who fancies herself a singer and actress. Two young men, Nikolai, a bookworm, and Pavel, a third-year student, rounded out the challenging opponent lineup.
A confrontation emerged between Anastasia and Victoria during their introduction.

In this episode, Nikolai and Pavel helped Victoria and Anastasia brush up on Russian numerals. Meanwhile, the ladies put the guys through a Bachata dance lesson.

"The early morning shoots were the hardest," Victoria revealed. "There were days I had to rise at 5 am to shower, dress, and commute. But I kept my spirits up and gave it my best shot."
Victoria and Pavel quickly hit it off. The young man created number cards for Victoria to practice her writing and declension rules.
"I can argue with the best of 'em when it comes to declining my words," Victoria joked during the practice session.
The Bachata went a bit awry; at one point, Pavel dropped Victoria from Siberia while executing a lift.
"But we remained cool when things went sideways. I knew we'd lose points if Pash dropped me," Victoria said.
In the end, Victoria and Pavel emerged victorious and pocketed 25,000 rubles each. They're considering using the cash to change their car's oil or invest in some new baubles. Says Victoria, "I'm a shopaholic; I love new things!"
