Gil Ofarim has entered into a new marital union
Gil Ofarim, the 42-year-old musician and son of the late 1960s star Abi Ofarim, recently tied the knot with his longtime partner Patricia L. in a private ceremony at Seeschloss Monrepos in Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg. The wedding was confirmed by Ofarim's management on August 13, 2025.
Patricia, unlike Ofarim, is not a public figure, and the marriage marks his second. His first marriage to Verena Brock ended in separation in 2018, with whom he has two children.
In October 2021, Ofarim found himself embroiled in a public scandal when he accused a Leipzig hotel of antisemitism. A video showcasing the incident gained significant traction on social media, with Ofarim claiming that a staff member asked him to remove his Star of David necklace to check in. However, the case was dismissed, and later, Ofarim admitted to making false accusations regarding antisemitism in the Leipzig hotel. He was ordered to pay a fine of 10,000 euros for his false claims.
The antisemitism accusation had a significant impact on Ofarim, both personally and professionally. The incident led to heightened security during his April 2025 comeback concert in Bochum due to threats he received as a Jewish musician.
Ofarim's fame began in the late 1990s as a teen star with English pop songs and laid the foundation for his later TV career. His TV career includes participating in "Let's Dance" and "The Masked Singer". Despite the challenges posed by the antisemitism scandal, Ofarim's subsequent attempts at a comeback have been cautious, reflecting the aftermath of the incident.
According to his management, Ofarim resides in Baden-Württemberg.
