Gigginstown's yearly dispersal serves as the highlight of the Tattersalls Online August Sale
Tattersalls August Online Sale Kicks Off with Prominent Trainers and Exciting Horses
The Tattersalls August Online Sale is set to take place on the 12th and 13th of August, and the event promises to be a spectacle for horse racing enthusiasts. The sale, which can be accessed at www.tattersallsonline.com, features many of Britain and Ireland's leading trainers, including Gordon Elliott and Peter Flood.
Gigginstown House Stud, a notable name in the racing world, is set to make a significant impact in this mixed sale of Flat and National Hunt horses. They will be represented by six geldings in training, with Gordon Elliott's five-year-old gelding Harsh being a standout entry. Harsh, a son of Dark Angel, has an official rating of 128 over fences and has performed notably at the Cheltenham Festival and other meetings. Last year, Harsh finished fourth in the Grade 3 Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Harsh isn't the only exciting horse in the sale. Capla Dream, a seven-year-old mare offered by Ballynure Park Stud, has had a productive year, producing a Showcasing filly, a yearling colt by Lucky Vega, and a colt foal by Teofilo. Capla Dream's dam is the seven-year-old Dream Ahead mare, and she is currently in foal to leading first season sire Starman. Tally Ho Stud's sire was successful in the July Cup and is already the sire of four Group winners.
Peter Flood, another prominent trainer, will be consigning a recent bumper winner named Governors Rock, a son of Joshua Tree, for the sale.
Prospective bidders can join the Tattersalls August Online Sale ahead of the commencement of bidding at 11am on August 12. The first lot's bidding is scheduled to close from 11am on August 13.
