Devin Singletary Transitions to Veteran Backup Role for Giants
Devin Singletary, the veteran running back for the New York Giants, is expected to serve as a reliable backup in the 2022 NFL season, following the emergence of rookie Tyrone Tracy as the team's lead running back during the 2024 campaign.
Singletary, who was initially signed to replace Saquon Barkley, had a diminished on-field role last season. He averaged 3.9 yards per carry over 113 rush attempts, with a total of 437 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
