Giants’ Cam Skattebo brawls with WWE stars while in a walking boot
New York Giants rookie Cam Skattebo found himself in the middle of a WWE ringside brawl while still recovering from a season-ending ankle injury. The incident unfolded during John Cena’s final Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden, where Skattebo and his group clashed with The Judgment Day faction. Despite wearing a walking boot, the running back stood his ground in the scripted confrontation.
Skattebo attended the event with Giants teammates Abdul Carter and Roy Robertson-Harris, along with comedian Andrew Schulz. The group became involved when Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor interrupted a ringside interview, sparking a shoving match. Even in a protective boot, Skattebo remained on his feet throughout the skirmish and taunted the wrestlers as they backed away.
The incident highlighted the risks of blending sports and entertainment, especially for an athlete in recovery. Skattebo’s return to training without further complications suggests the altercation had no immediate physical impact. The Giants have not commented on whether the rookie will face any internal consequences for his actions.
