Skattebo attended the event with Giants teammates Abdul Carter and Roy Robertson-Harris, along with comedian Andrew Schulz. The group became involved when Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor interrupted a ringside interview, sparking a shoving match. Even in a protective boot, Skattebo remained on his feet throughout the skirmish and taunted the wrestlers as they backed away.
The incident highlighted the risks of blending sports and entertainment, especially for an athlete in recovery. Skattebo’s return to training without further complications suggests the altercation had no immediate physical impact.
