2025 Summer Super Stack: $560 Megastack NLH Day 1B Exceeds Expectations

The 2025 Summer Super Stack is off to an exciting start with the second day of Event #12: $560 Megastack NLH showing a significant increase in participation.

With 177 entries participating in Day 1B, the expected turnout was 50% higher than Day 1A. This surge in players has led to an anticipated prize pool of over $200,000 when all the chips are in.

The initial predictions suggested a prize pool "well over $200k," and with the increased entries on Day 1B, this estimate seems to be on track. The $560 buy-in multiplied by roughly 400 entries (taking into account both days) corresponds to the $190,000 prize pool baseline.

Day 1A ended late, with the bubble lasting a couple of hours and ending at about 2 AM in Level 19. The prize pool for Day 1A was approximately $84,000.

Eric Wasylenko currently holds the largest stack among the Day 1a participants, with more than 600k. Mal Hagan is in third place with 555k, the only player in the 500s. Interestingly, Jerry Li, who previously won against Eric Wasylenko in a 6-Max event on Tuesday, is close behind with more than 600k as well.

The final flight for the $560 Megastack NLH takes off at noon on Thursday. The blinds for the final flight will be 40 minutes each. Entries for the final flight are open for 9.5 hours.

The 2025 Summer Super Stack is considerably larger than the Spring Super Stack, indicating a growing interest in the series. The Series is expected to exceed $200k in prize pool, making it an attractive event for poker enthusiasts.

The event structure allows for late entries and no hard stop at the end of Level 15, which could influence total entries slightly. However, 2.5% of buy-ins over $150 are held for charities and staff fees, which slightly reduces the net prize pool but is factored in by the event organizers.

As the tournament progresses, the excitement continues to build, with players vying for their share of the substantial prize pool. Stay tuned for updates on the 2025 Summer Super Stack: $560 Megastack NLH.

The growing interest in the 2025 Summer Super Stack is evident with the anticipated prize pool surpassing $200,000, thanks to the participatory sports of poker enthusiasts. In the $560 Megastack NLH, the increased entries during Day 1B contribute significantly to the total prize pool.
