Rock Icon Gianna Nannini Heads to Berlin for Concert - Gianna Nannini's one-night symphonic triumph lights up Berlin's Waldbühne
Italian rock legend Gianna Nannini will take the stage at Berlin's Waldbühne on September 19, 2023, for a one-off symphonic concert. The event marks the 50th anniversary of her debut album and launches her GiannaGold anniversary project in Germany. Nannini has called the performance a 'dream come true' and a tribute to her devoted German fans.
The Berlin concert will be Nannini's only major show of the year. It features a symphonic rock programme celebrating her career and greatest hits in Germany. Among her most beloved songs in Germany are Un'estate italiana and Bello e impossibile, many of which she recorded with the late producer Conny Plank.
Tickets go on general sale from February 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM, with a presale for fans opening earlier in the week. Nannini chose Germany to launch GiannaGold as a 'love letter' to her audience there. Despite the project's announcement in Milan on December 8, 2025, no further concerts or worldwide dates have been confirmed as of February 10, 2026.
The Waldbühne performance stands as the sole large-scale event in Nannini's 2023 schedule. It highlights her enduring bond with German listeners and her five-decade career in music. Fans can secure tickets starting February 16, with no additional shows planned beyond this anniversary celebration in Germany.
