Ghislaine Maxwell Transfers to Federal Penitentiary in Texas

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted accomplice of the late Jeffrey Epstein, has been moved from a Florida prison to a federal prison in Bryan, Texas. The transfer was confirmed by a source and records from the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Maxwell is currently in the custody of the BOP at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas. The exact reason for her transfer remains undisclosed, but it is known that Maxwell recently offered to testify before Congress under conditions that the interview not take place at the correctional facility where she was serving her sentence.

Her attorney confirmed the move, but further details were not provided. The BOP typically transfers inmates for various operational reasons, but no specific comment has been made about Maxwell’s case.

In addition to the transfer, Maxwell's legal team is actively seeking to overturn her 2022 conviction or obtain a pardon or commutation.

Last week, Maxwell met in private with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche at the US attorney's office in Tallahassee. Her lawyer stated that Maxwell "honestly answered every question" asked during the meeting.

The BOP spokesperson, Donald Murphy, confirmed Maxwell's custody at the FPC Bryan in Bryan, Texas. Maxwell, who was previously implicated in a years-long scheme involving Epstein where they groomed and sexually abused underage girls, will continue to appeal her conviction from her new location in Texas.
