Germany's Weather Mix: Sun, Rain, and a Warm Week Ahead
The new week begins with a mix of weather across Germany. The northwest and centre will enjoy partly sunny skies, while scattered rain falls elsewhere. No significant changes are expected in the coming days.
Sunday brings sunshine to the south and southwest after morning fog lifts. Temperatures could reach a pleasant 17°C. This weather is driven by a high pressure system named 'Sieglinde' currently influencing Europe.
Looking ahead, Germany can expect a shift in the large-scale weather system towards the end of next week. A southwest flow will bring relatively warm air, with temperatures ranging from +15 to +20°C. Intermittent rain and gusty winds are likely, along with more variable conditions. Temperatures will settle around +10 to +15°C with increasing wind, and there's a possibility of autumn storms if low-pressure activity moves further south.
For now, the weather remains frost-free. While no fundamental changes are expected immediately, a shift in the large-scale weather pattern may occur towards the end of the coming week. On Sunday, rain is expected in the north and east, easing off towards evening from the Baltic Sea.
