In an exciting turn of events, men are now participating in the popular German modelling competition, "Germany's Next Topmodel". The show, aired on ProSieben, recently concluded its 20th season in the summer.
Model Bruce Darnell, known for his stint in the show, expressed his views about the development to Web.de News. He finds it wonderful that men are now a part of the competition, making it more inclusive and representative.
The format of "Germany's Next Topmodel" has always been open to male participants, but this is the first time that a significant number of men are taking part. The show's relevance, according to Darnell, remains undiminished.
The model trainer, who has been associated with the show for almost 20 years, has been a driving force behind the show's success. However, he has expressed uncertainty about a potential return, stating that everything is uncertain at this point.
In a separate development, it was announced that Jorge González, a former jury member on "Germany's Next Topmodel", will not be returning to the show. Bill Kaulitz, on the other hand, who was a jury member on "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (DSDS), appeared again in 2021.
As "Germany's Next Topmodel" enters its 20th season, it continues to break new ground and challenge conventions. With the inclusion of male participants, the show promises to deliver even more exciting and diverse talent in the future.
