Germany's nightlife scene has shone at the Mixology Bar Awards for 2026, with top spots in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Cologne scooping prestigious awards. Notable wins include a repeat victory for Berlin's Green Door bar and a new accolade for Hamburg's Nick & Nora cocktail bar.
Hamburg's nightlife made a strong impression with two wins. The Nick & Nora cocktail bar was crowned 'New Bar of the Year', while the Jing Jing restaurant-bar took home 'Restaurant-Bar of the Year 2026'. Meanwhile, Berlin's Green Door bar secured its second 'Bar of the Year' title, solidifying its status as a repeat winner. The city also saw the American Bar recognised for its unique David Lynch-inspired setting.
In Munich, the Ory bar at the Mandarin Oriental hotel was awarded 'Hotel Bar of the Year'. Across the border, Austria's Dunlin bar in Innsbruck was named 'Bar of the Year 2026'. In Switzerland, the Late Bloomers bar-café in Zürich received the same honour. Back in Germany, Berlin's Buck & Breck bar was recognised as 'Bar Institution'.
