"Bar of the Year" is back in Berlin - Germany's Nightlife Crowned: Mixology Bar Awards 2026
The Mixology Bar Awards for 2026 have honoured top nightlife spots in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Cologne. Bars from these cities received multiple accolades, showcasing their unique offerings and excellence in the industry.
Munich's Mandarin Oriental played host to the 'Hotel Bar of the Year', Ory. Meanwhile, Hamburg's Jing Jing retained its title as 'Restaurant-Bar of the Year' for the second year running. Across the border in Austria, Innsbruck's Dunlin bar was named 'Bar of the Year 2026'.
Berlin's American Bar in Schöneberg won for its distinctive David Lynch-inspired atmosphere. In Hamburg, Nick & Nora was crowned 'New Bar of the Year'. Berlin's Green Door bar took home both 'Bar of the Year' and 'Bar Team of the Year' awards. Cologne's Zest and Spice impressed with its innovative drink menu, including the Ceylon Mule. Zürich's Late Bloomers bar-café was recognised for its trendy location in district 4. Lastly, Berlin-Mitte's Buck & Breck was honoured as a 'Bar Institution'.
