Kemlein and Gechter not for U21 - Germany U21s Welcome Berliners Rothe & Ansah, Lose Gechter & Kemlein to Injuries

The German U21 national team has seen some changes ahead of their upcoming European Championship qualifying matches. Two Berliners, Tom Rothe and Ilyas Ansah of 1. FC Union, remain in the squad, while Linus Gechter of Hertha BSC and Aljoscha Kemlein of 1. FC Union have withdrawn due to injuries. Meanwhile, Elias Baum of Frankfurt and Kofi Amoako of Dynamo Dresden have been called up.

Antonio di Salvo continues as the head coach of the Germany U21s, guiding the team that now includes Tom Rothe and Ilyas Ansah as the only Berliners. Unfortunately, Linus Gechter and Aljoscha Kemlein will not participate in the qualifying matches against Greece and Northern Ireland. Gechter's injury will also keep him out of Hertha BSC's friendly against VfL Wolfsburg, while Kemlein will miss 1. FC Union's friendly against FSV Luckenwalde 63 during the international break. Replacing them in the U21 squad are Elias Baum and Kofi Amoako, who will look to make an impact in the upcoming matches.
