Germany may stir up excitement with the introduction of Abor and Tynna?

Get ready for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025's grand finale! It's just around the corner, happening on May 17 in Basel. The German representation will be none other than the multitalented Abor & Tynna.

Stefan Raab, the ever-entertaining host, discovered the Vienna siblings during a gripping audition marathon. Raab aims to regain the title for Germany after his protege Lena Meyer-Landrut triumphed in 2010 with the hit “Satellite." Whether Abor & Tynna will outshine their competition with the song “Baller” is yet to be seen.

Bookmakers don’t hold high hopes for Abor & Tynna reaching the top spots. But, an analysis of Google search queries paints a different picture. "Baller" seems to be performing exceptionally well compared to the competition.

Google has evaluated the most searched ESC entries for 2025 and prepared the data. According to this study, "Baller" accounts for about 13% of the queries, securing second place after the Spanish contender Melody with “Esa diva” (14%). Notably, Spain takes the first spot, while France, Sweden, and the UK share third place with 12%, and the UK completes the top five with 11%.

The top ten contenders also include Claude (Netherlands), JJ (Austria), Lucio Corsi (Italy), Zoe Me (Switzerland), and Ziferblat from Ukraine.

Back home to Germany, "Baller" has generated significant interest. However, other contestants have equally caught the German audience’s attention. Apart from “Baller,” the most searched songs include “Bird of Pray,” “Bara bada bastu,” “Wasted Love,” “Voyage,” and “Esa diva” – in that order.

Interestingly, various European nations show a high interest in Abor & Tynna. Over the past 30 days, query interest in them and “Baller” has been notably high in Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

On a side note: Germany is one of the "Big Five" countries, automatically qualifying for the ESC final, alongside France, Spain, the UK, and Italy. Memorial dates include the first semi-final on May 13th, followed by the second on May 15th, and Stefan Raab's own ESC showon May 14th at 8:15 PM.
