"We witnessed the arrival of the delegation spearheaded by Ravi Shankar Prasad. We've held numerous meetings today," Gupte disclosed. "Prasad met with the Vice President of the Bundestag, Omid Nouripour, followed by a gathering of MPs, including Armin Laschet, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Ralph Brinkhaus, who has been the Chairman of the India-Germany Parliamentary Friendship Group."

"In the afternoon, we convened with the Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul," he added. "In all these sit-downs, senior representatives underlined their support for India's combat against terrorism and stood in solidarity."

Notably, Foreign Minister Wadephul earlier declared that India has the right to shield itself from terrorist attacks, and Mr. Nouripour affirmed this sentiment. "No nation has borne the brunt of terrorism like India has," Gupte pointed out.

The delegation also partook in a luncheon with German MPs representing diverse political viewpoint. "Germany has made a powerful stance in endorsing India's stance on the fight against terrorism," Gupte said.
