Mild Weather in Sight - Up to 20 Degrees on Thursday - Germany braces for a midweek warmth surge near 20°C

Germany is set for a brief warm spell this week, with temperatures expected to reach near 20°C by midweek. This comes as a southwesterly flow brings mild air masses towards the country.

The low-pressure system Odin will kickstart the week, bringing rain to northern, central, and eastern regions on Tuesday. However, temperatures will start to rise, with Thursday seeing potential highs of 20°C in areas like the Rhineland, Upper Rhine Valley, Alpine foothills, and even parts of the Eifel. Elsewhere, cooler temperatures may persist, especially where fog is present.

The peak of this warm spell is expected on Thursday, with temperatures nearing 20°C. Overnight clear skies in southern Bavaria could still result in localized frost.

Germany can look forward to milder weather in the coming days, with a brief but notable warm spell expected midweek. However, temperatures will vary depending on region and weather conditions.
