The 35th German Unity Prize, a prestigious Group III race, is set to take place on October 3rd at Hoppegarten Racecourse. Worth 55,000 euros, this year's event promises to be even more exciting with a significant increase in prize money and a star-studded lineup of horses and jockeys.

Rene Piechulek, the skilled jockey of Quest the Moon, will be aiming for a remarkable fourth consecutive victory in the German Unity Prize. The duo has been unstoppable, winning the event three times in a row. However, they will face stiff competition from other top contenders such as Delgardo and Santagada.

This year's race day is set to be a premium event, with each of the eight races boasting at least 15,000 euros in prize money. In total, 213,000 euros will be distributed, marking a 28 percent increase from last year. Quest the Moon, with a first prize of 32,000 euros up for grabs, is a strong favorite to take home the top prize.
