Bookings for summer travel are surging, with Germany’s second-largest tour operator, Dertour, reporting an 18 percent rise compared to last year. While winter trips remain steady, some destinations face challenges due to rising costs and shifting demand.

Dertour’s summer bookings have climbed significantly, reflecting a shift toward diverse and long-haul destinations. Meanwhile, winter travel holds steady, though some regions struggle with falling demand and higher costs.
