Bookings for summer travel are surging, with Germany’s second-largest tour operator, Dertour, reporting an 18 percent rise compared to last year. While winter trips remain steady, some destinations face challenges due to rising costs and shifting demand.

Turkey stays the most popular summer destination for German travellers, with bookings up by 11 percent. Spain, Greece, and Egypt follow closely, while Tunisia has seen reservations nearly double for the upcoming season.
