This season brings new challenges and familiar faces. Each qualifying round consists of eight obstacles, including classics like "Five Steps" and "Swinging Rings," as well as new challenges such as "Wheel Walk" and "Spin Cycle." These new obstacles are sure to test the athletes' agility, strength, and determination.
Familiar faces and promising newcomers like Lotta Kokemohr and Fabian Singer are also participating. Among the competitors is the reigning champion, René Casselly, who will be looking to defend his title.
The competition consists of seven qualifying rounds, with the top four athletes in each round receiving cash prizes up to 5,000 euros and a chance to secure a final ticket in the anniversary special "The Direct Path to the Final." This season features around 40 participants per qualifying round.
Longtime host Frank Buschmann (60) has announced that this will be his last season. He has led the show since its inception alongside Jan Köppen (42) and Laura Wontorra (36). Buschmann's successor for the tenth season has not been announced, with Buschmann himself refraining from commenting on who will replace him after he leaves alongside Köppen and Wontorra.
A new addition to the competition this season is "The Wall 2.0," which athletes must conquer to earn a semi-final ticket and an extra 5,000 euros. The season finale is scheduled for December 5, 2025.
Ninja Warrior Germany has spawned adaptations in 18 countries worldwide and has been captivating viewers since 2016, based on the successful concept of the Japanese show "Sasuke." Get ready for another season of spectacular performances and high tension!
