German manufacturing witnessed an upsurge in new orders during September. The growth materialized as several key industries reported enhanced demand for their products last month. The increase was spearheaded by higher demand in electrical equipment, data processing devices, and electronic and optical products. The automotive sector also played a significant role in the uptick in orders. The latest figures suggest a positive shift in certain manufacturing sectors. However, the steady backlog implies that production pipelines have not yet accelerated beyond their current pace.
