German dictatorship-themed TV series seeks 600 background actors
Get ready,. Cologne is calling all actors! A new ARD series titled "All Heroes Are Bastards" is set to begin production in the area, and they're on the hunt for more than 600 extras and supporting actors.
The story unfolds in a Germany where an authoritarian government brutally targets minorities. This intriguing series is currently being produced by Eick & Weber agency, and filming is slated to commence from mid-July through mid-October.
Managing director Burkhard Eick encouraged individuals of all ethnicities, nationalities, genders, and gender identities between the ages of 18 and 80 to apply. The diverse cast they're aiming for includes families, students, teachers, athletic and muscular men, young adults for an international choir, and much more.
In addition to the extras, they're also seeking supporting actors for multiple days of work.
