Georgia's wide receivers garnering attention not experienced since A.J. Green era days

Quarterback Gunner Stockton took over for the injured Carson Beck in the 2024 season, producing mixed results in his limited time. Stockton helped the Georgia Bulldogs defeat Texas in the SEC Championship Game after Beck went out.
The Bulldogs, who won their second straight national championship in January of 2023, are slated to kick off the 2025 season at home against Marshall on August 30 at 3:30 PM ET.
Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reported that Georgia may have its most talented overall wide receiver group since A.J. Green was playing 15 years ago. The 2024 season, however, was less than great for the Bulldogs, with Stockton's performance in the loss vs Notre Dame being particularly disappointing.
