Georgia Food + Wine Festival Unites Chefs and Food Lovers for a Cause

ATLANTA, Ga. (ATL Live) - The Georgia Food + Wine Festival is underway with a weekend lineup of tastings, cooking demos and live entertainment. ATL Live'sAndrew Tyree visited the festival and spoke with guests and organizers about what attendees can expect on the grounds.

He stopped by the silent auction tent to showcase the items available to bid. The auction supports SafePath, a metro Atlanta nonprofit that provides services and shelter for families impacted by domestic violence.

Tyree also visited Rodney Scott's BBQ for a conversation with Kyrie Larsen, pitmaster and Nick Liberato, celebrity chef known fromBar Rescue, about food trends and what draws chefs to festival weekends like this one.
