Geely's EX5 Electric SUV Set to Revolutionize UK Market by Year's End

Geely, the Chinese automaker behind brands like Volvo and Lotus, is set to enter the UK market by the end of the year. It's kicking off with the EX5, an electric SUV that promises impressive performance and features.

The EX5, due in the UK's final quarter, boasts a 6.9-second 0-62 mph acceleration and a 267-mile range on a single charge. It's priced at £31,990 and comes packed with tech like a 15.4-inch central screen, 360-degree parking camera, and adaptive cruise control. Charging is swift too, with a 30-80% top-up in around 20 minutes, and it comes with an eight-year extended guarantee.

Geely has worked with Lotus Engineering and ATR International AG to ensure the EX5 meets UK safety and compliance standards. It's also planning to expand its UK range next year, with the EX5 Pro and Max models on the horizon. These will offer additional features, further enhancing Geely's appeal in the competitive British market.

Geely's EX5 is poised to rival the likes of Skoda and Tesla when it arrives in the UK. With its blend of performance, range, features, and affordability, it could make a significant impact on the British EV scene. The company's commitment to safety and compliance, as shown in its collaborations, bodes well for its future in the UK.
