The Indian cricket team arrived in Vishakhapatnam on Friday for the decisive third ODI against South Africa. With the series tied at 1-1, the match will determine the outcome of a closely fought contest. Before focusing on preparations, head coach Gautam Gambhir took time to visit the historic Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Simhachalam.

Gambhir has made temple visits a regular part of his routine during this series. Earlier, he offered prayers during the two Test matches as well. On Friday, he performed the Kappa Sthambam ritual, a gesture symbolising complete surrender to the divine.

The final ODI will decide whether India finishes the year on a high or faces another setback. With home advantage and a strong record at the venue, the team will look to their in-form batters to secure a series win. A victory would reinforce their dominance in familiar conditions.
