GAU, Supreme Seed Company Team Up to Boost Bangladesh's Agriculture

Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) and Supreme Seed Company Limited have joined forces to boost Bangladesh's agriculture sector. The two parties signed a letter of agreement, aiming to promote sustainable practices and encourage entrepreneurship.

The ceremony was held at GAU's Academic Council Conference Room in Gazipur on Monday. It was presided over by Professor Nasrin Akter Ivy, director of IQAC, GAU. The event saw the attendance of Professor M Moynul Haque, pro-VC, and Professor Md Safiul Islam Afrad, treasurer of GAU, along with Mohammed Masum, chairman of Supreme Seed Company Limited, as special guests.

Professor GKM Mustafizur Rahman, vice-chancellor of GAU, attended as chief guest. He highlighted the importance of technology and innovation in advancing agriculture and the benefits of partnerships between academia and industry. Mohammed Masum, chairman of Supreme Seed Company Limited, echoed these sentiments, expressing his company's aim to make Bangladesh's agriculture more sustainable and commercially vibrant through modern research and practical innovations.

The agreement between GAU and Supreme Seed Company Limited seeks to foster collaboration between academia and industry, encourage agricultural entrepreneurship, and promote innovative agricultural research. It aims to use sustainable technologies and products, contributing to Bangladesh's agricultural development.
