Now, NYC itself is a veritable Democratic fortress, yet it's those young, conservative hustlers that are meeting potential loves and connections at a series of hot new events in the Big Apple.

You've probably heard about that pesky political polarization popping up in conversations everywhere, particularly between young men and women. One instance that literally had folks chatting from coast to coast was when "Love is Blind" stars Sara Carton and Ben Mezzenga decided to spurn marriage during the season finale because Carton had nagging doubts about Mezzenga's religious and political viewpoints, including those on the Black Lives Matter movement.

As our societies become increasingly divided, it's no surprise that young conservatives, especially those in cities leans toward the left, are turning to organized events that cater to their political beliefs to find romance.

Now, we can't forget about Sara Carton and Ben Mezzenga's contentious split on "Love is Blind". Their clash demonstrates how political leanings can play a significant role in romantic compatibility. So, what's all the commotion about in NYC? The "Make America Hot Again" series of events, for one! Brainchild of conservative influencer Raquel Debono, these parties connect young conservatives in fabulous NYC joints like downtown's Sincerely, Ophelia and Trump Tower. Debono emphasizes these events are for ordinary folks, swaying to the "city conservative" tune, aiming to cultivate a fun, welcoming ambiance distinct from ordinary Republican mixers.

There's been plenty of mingling, with events swelling up to as many as 300 people! Debono even shared she's on the lookout for her soulmate herself.

As one can expect, these events draw a male-dominated crowd, with Debono noting a 60-40 split in favor of men from the "bro and tech vote." She's met some handsome fellows, she says, but, alas, the coach doesn't play!

Brent Morden, New York Young Republican Club's vice president, who made waves with a trendy gala, maintains that NYC is simply brimming with dating prospects - if you know where to look!

Conservative dating apps, such as Date Right Stuff, have also observed a surge in downloads following the 2024 election. This welcome news has the team focusing on NYC, hosting sought-after events to woo "hundreds of attendees" and generate enthusiasm!

According to the app's growth boss, Micaela Bishop, the main aim is to establish substantial communities in Democratic cities, ensuring conservative folks have a space to connect.
