Raab's Blockbuster "Vatican Spectacular" on RTL

Private gathering held within the host's TV show - Gathering Jen's own audience within his broadcast

Here's a hoot of a headline for you - Stefan Raab, everybody's favorite German TV big cheese, is turning his game show studio into a mini-Vatican! That's right, folks, the day the Vatican wants a new Pope, so does Stefan Raab. On May 7th, RTL (and RTL+, of course) is airing a wild ride titled "#DGHNDMBSR - Pope Election Special".

In this jaw-dropper of a show, Raab's studio will ooze with the atmosphere of the Vatican, complete with robes, a conclave vibe, and, you guessed it, plenty of hilarity. The Mass Celebrant, or something along those lines, will be the audience, fully embracing the ecclesiastical madness.

Zarrella Adds a Dash of Italy

Our Italian superstar, Giovanni Zarrella (47), will be the guest performer for this special occasion. To add more flavor to the church theme, there's also a street poll planned for the 39th German Evangelical Church Congress.

Stefan Raab's smashing comeback, "You Won't Win the Million," made its debut on RTL+ in fall 2024 and has been tickling our funny bones on free TV since February 2025. This bad boy is a blend of "TV total" and "Schlag den Raab," with recent specials featuring celeb-packed attractions. Last week, for instance, we saw the "Dance into May" special, featuring dancing sensations Malika Dzumaev, Renata Lusin, and Massimo Sinató.
