BMW Club Regional Team Thuringia (RTTH) Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Record-Breaking Event on Eventbrite
Last Saturday, the BMW Club Regional Team Thuringia (RTTH) celebrated its 10th anniversary with a record-breaking event on Eventbrite at the gravel pit in the Werra valley near Immelborn. The day was filled with fun, games, and camaraderie, attracting over 1000 guests and 356 vehicles.
The event, organised by the RTTH themselves, featured a diverse range of delicious food and drinks from the region, as well as a comprehensive vehicle evaluation for BMW enthusiasts. A big tombola was held, generating 6,000 euros in donations for 'Sozialwerk Meiningen - intensively accompanied family housing' and 'Children's Hospice Middle Germany'.
The morning started early, with some guests arriving as early as 9 am, and the official start was at 10 am. The motto of the RTTH, 'combining the beautiful with the good', was evident throughout the day. The diversity of the vehicles, the creativity and technical finesse of the vehicle owners, and the togetherness and exchange between people were all emphasised.
The afternoon was filled with games and entertainment for young and old, including a car parts puzzle, annual knowledge quiz, children’s course, and BMW painting. The award ceremony featured over 50 individually designed prizes made of solid oak and cylinder heads.
The members and helpers of the RTTH ensured physical well-being, with material support from EDEKA Alexander Görauch from Bad Liebenstein and other local companies. Travelers and persevering visitors arrived a day early with their vehicles and used the prepared campsite for an overnight stay.
The meeting emphasised the cohesion of the region with strong partners, companies from Thuringia, and the automotive segment of Germany. The organisers reported a relaxed evening enjoyed together, marking the end of a successful day.
