Delay in Gas Shutdown Due to Chilly May Weather in Elizavetinskaya
Gas Shutoff Scheduled in Two Weeks for Elizaveta
The scheduled gas shutoff for the village of Elizavetinskaya, originally planned for May, has been pushed back to the end of the month because of the lingering cold weather in Krasnodar during those months.
In response to this weather-induced delay, a makeshift information hub, a command center, will be set up at the Elizavetinsky rural settlement administration. Here, citizens can get the lowdown on ongoing repairs, updates on obsolete equipment replacement, and all other gas supply-related matters.
"Residents will have opportunities to quiz experts on technical maintenance and equipment modernization within the command center at the administration," wrote Maxim Onischenko, Vice-Mayor of Krasnodar, on his Telegram channel.
The cause of the shutdown remains the same - maintenance work to swap a high-pressure pipeline section. Approximately 6,900 objects will be impacted by this swap.
