Take That, the iconic British band, is gearing up for a spectacular comeback with a new album and an 11-date stadium tour in 2026. The tour, titled "The Circus Live", is a recreation of their successful 2009 tour, promising to bring back the energy and excitement that made it a hit. The band, consisting of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen, has announced that they will be hitting the gym hard to prepare for these concerts.
The tour kicks off at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on May 29, 2026, and will include stops in cities such as Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Sunderland, and Coventry. The band will be joined by special guests The Script and Belinda Carlisle.
In a recent exclusive chat at the Soho Hotel in London, Gary Barlow mentioned that the fans were instrumental in the idea of The Circus 2026. The tour will feature acrobats, fire breathers, jugglers, and a tightrope walker, promising a visual spectacle to complement the music. They are also bringing back the giant mechanical beast from the first tour and their original Circus outfits from storage.
Meanwhile, in the film world, fans of The Devil Wears Prada are eagerly awaiting the release of the sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2. Moreover, the soundtrack from The Devil Wears Prada show features two never-before-heard demos from Sir Elton John. David Furnish also mentioned that there is a vault full of hundreds of Elton John's tracks and demos that the world is yet to hear.
On the music front, Jessie J has written a heartbreaking track for her new album about losing friend Jamal Edwards. Raye, another rising star, is set to release her follow-up to her 2023 debut album My 21st Century Blues by next summer.
