Garbsen Celebrates Fifth Annual Shooting Festival

The town of Garbsen celebrated its fifth annual shooting festival, a unifying event praised by Mayor Claudio Provenzano. The festival, organized by the Schloß Ricklingen shooting association this year, saw around 200 marksmen and marksmen participate in a festive procession at the town hall.

The procession, accompanied by the Schloß Ricklingen brass band, marked the ceremonial start of the traditional window nailing. The shooting targets were solemnly attached to the town hall by the associations and then symbolically toasted. The majesties of the festival, Daniela Wichmann as Town Shooting Queen, Marcel Feise as Town Shooting King, Jonas Mohr as Town Youth King, and Nils Schröder as Town Citizen King, were at the center of the ceremony. The evening concluded with music, good mood, and sociable togetherness.

The service team Garbsen provided food and drinks for the event, ensuring all attendees were well-fed and hydrated. Next year, the Heitlingen shooting association will take over the organization of the festival, promising another successful event for the community.
